Ok, I admit it. I have a few guilty that I do not like the world to know the pleasure, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one, and I would be able to help others. Once in a blue moon, I have the urge to Red Robin. No chips and burgers. But their burgers are so expensive. But with some small changes I can make my favorite burger at home.
The first thing to do is find out what ingredients are in your burger. You can find this information online. If you say something in your recipe is a secret, it is likely that, with a little research you will find. Most of the time the big secret is that you can buy at any grocery shelf. Once you know what you need, it's just a matter of finding the way to put the damn thing together.
Hit Red Robin and enjoy it before opening it. What goes where, write, take a picture with your mobile phone, all you need to do if you remember and have a reference point when you're done. Most of the time, it's pretty obvious, but if you want it to be fair, this step should be.
If you are unsure of something, do not be afraid to ask. Reverse trade secrets much personal time, not because they try to harm the company, but most of the time they are young and can not understand the concept of trade secrets.
Once you know what you need and how it goes hand in hand, head to the grocery store and pick up ingredients. If you're worried about calories, you can change things. Use a veggie burger patty instead of a beef burger. Or use an option for low-calorie sauces. Especially, when cooked, you can cut a lot of fat and grease. Not only will satisfy the thirst of Red Robin, you may even shaved some calories.
And to get you started, here is the recipe of the famous Red Robin seasoning.
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon of the mixture of instant tomato soup
- 2 teaspoons chili powder (do not do it with this spice)
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (try to use fresh beans pepper)
